I’ve been a fan of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand for a while. They were launched back in 2000 after bringing together the talents of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo in Italy. As time went on, they have evolved into a huge designer brand with retail locations all over the world, and it’s one that fashion fans can’t resist.

I’ve known about Golden Goose for years and I would often check out the collection on FarFetch, as they always had an amazing selection, but I never ended up getting any because I always felt the price was too high and resembled Converse too much, so they were always saved for later. Some time back, Adam was the one who first got into the brand and he actually got his first pair of their Superstar sneakers last year, which was what inspired me to look into them more. After checking out his pair and realizing the uniqueness of each pair because they’re artisanal, I was even more curious. As the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are deliberately worn-looking and made to appear vintage, they are all hand done so they’re truly one-of-a-kind. Some have much more abrasions and dirt than others, so the variation is wide.
